Every episode begins with the introduction stating the purpose of the series. Penn & Teller come out and are seated at the stage. The hopeful magicians perform their magic in front of them with an audience in the studio. Following each show, Penn & Teller privately talk while the host interview the magicians. Penn & Teller then reveal their knowledge of how the trick was performed, usually using cryptic words or by writing down the method and then presenting it to the magicians in order to verify, so as to avoid committing public disclosure of the secrets of the trick.
Season 7 will begin filming on October 14, 2022.
Eight Reasons Why People Binge Penn And Teller — Fool Us
Fool Us was filmed at Fountain Studios in London, England (season one) and the Penn & Teller Theater located in Las Vegas (season two onward). Following each show, when Penn & Teller cannot figure out how the trick was accomplished, then the magician(s) who performed the trick get the Fool Us trophy and a five-star flight for a trip to Las Vegas to perform as the opening act of Penn & Teller's show, in addition to the Rio Hotel & Casino.
The 11th season debuted on the

In the event that the act is real, or Penn & Teller are unable to determine how it was achieved the magician is awarded an award called a Fool Us award and the opportunity to perform as the opening act of Penn Teller's Las Vegas show.
A backstage judge who is knowledgeable in the techniques of magic, and has witnessed the trick before the show, makes all necessary modifications, whether Penn & Teller were fooled and, if yes, in what extent.
In the final moments of every show, Penn & Teller perform an extraordinary magic show.
For the first season, Jonathan Ross served as a temporary substitute for Penn and Teller's hosting duties, however, they returned for the second season.

The illusionists performing tricks in Penn & Teller "Fool Us" are usually accomplished sleight-of-hand artists and illusionists. They typically make it more difficult to understand the trick by performing in near darkness or creating distraction through conversation or sound effects.
In conformity with three-time Fool Us winner
expert magician Jon Finch, Teller and Penn have a good relationship with magicians who appear on their show. Some routines, such as the ones by Joshua Jay, are invited to be part of Penn Teller's Vegas illusion show.
Season three onward, from season three, the top 10 performers who fooled Penn & Teller are invited back for an exclusive episode on Fool Us in which they each will repeat their trick and attempt to fool Penn & Teller for an additional ten thousand dollars cash prize.
Though they remain taciturn and in motion throughout the duration during the performance, Penn & Teller can communicate with each with subtle gestures. They may also confer with a magician who is performing and ask them to repeat an act or give more details.
Penn and Teller are known for their contributions to the art of magic, such as publishing books about deceit and making instructional videos on the art of card tricks, and traveling with their own show of magic named Penn & Teller "Fool" Us.
