5 Ways To Earn Money From Uploading Videos On Youtube5 Ways To Earn Money From Uploading Videos On Youtube

If you’re like me, you enjoy watching videos on Youtube. But have you ever thought about how you could make money from uploading videos on Youtube? There are a few ways that you can do this, and I’m going to share with you four of them in this blog post. So keep reading if you’re interested in learning more!

1. Advertising Income

FB-ad

The first way to make money from uploading videos on Youtube is by advertising the video and getting advertising income. This means that you will upload your video, and then at the beginning or end of it, you will have a quick advertisement that people can click on if they want to learn more about what you’re selling.

This may seem simple enough, but just uploading a video with an ad attached to it isn’t going to earn you any money. You need to think of this as a business partnership where both parties benefit from each other. For example, if these individuals who are watching the videos don’t see anything interesting in them, they either aren’t going to watch it all the way through or skip over it completely. But if they see something that catches their eye and they’re interested in it, then this means that you will get more click-throughs and people will spend more time watching your video.

To find out what kinds of ads work best on Youtube, the first thing you need to do is research. If your video is about dogs, don’t advertise cat food! But you also need to think about the demographics of the people who are viewing your videos. For example, if you want to sell beauty products for women, then think about what kinds of advertisements would appeal most to them. Would a makeup company do special promotion work? Or would images of young, beautiful models wearing these cosmetics be better?

This is how much money many YouTubers are earning per month

The next thing you need to do is buy the ads. This is where it gets expensive, and you’re going to need a budget for this. I’m not going to give exact figures here because they’ll change depending on different factors such as the cost of living in that particular country or city, but you can expect at least a few hundred dollars if not more every month. These ads will then show up before your videos as well as after them, and people who click through them will be brought to another page with even more information about what you’re trying to sell. Once again this may work out great, or you might end up having very low click-throughs with hardly any sales from those ads. But there is a good chance that even if you don’t get many click-throughs, you’ll still get some income from the ads.

2. Sponsorships

Another way to make money on Youtube is through sponsorships with companies and brands who want to represent their products or services to your viewers. So for example instead of doing an advertisement as we talked about in the previous section, they may come to you and say hey we’d like to sponsor your video and give you $50 per 1000 views (CPM) for this particular video. This means that if 1000 people watch your video, then you will receive $50 from that sponsorship deal whether or not they end up buying anything or signing with that company afterward.

This is where your budget comes in handy, especially if you want to start getting sponsored videos. Because again even though the CPM will be $50 on average for 1000 views of your video, there are still going to be some people who watch it and never click through any of the links that you have included within it. So while YouTube does get a percentage of that money, you’re also losing money because not everyone did what they were supposed to do by clicking through on one of those links at the end.

If you don’t think that sponsorships are right for your Youtube channel, then there is another option available that many YouTubers take advantage of- affiliate marketing. This means that instead of getting paid per view like in a sponsorship deal, you will get a certain percentage of all the sales that you generated through your link. For example, if there is some product or service that you want to promote on Youtube then instead of upfront payment for your video, they may say okay give us 50% of all the revenue from this particular affiliate sale. Once again this can be great because not only are people watching your videos and being exposed to what you have to offer, but it also gives them more incentive to buy or sign up because they’ll receive half off their first purchase or initial sign-up fee!

Of course, even with affiliate marketing deals, you’re still going to need a budget to receive any income from these products that are being sold through your link. So make sure you have one set aside for this before doing any affiliate marketing, otherwise, it may end up turning into a disappointment instead of an income generator.

3. T-shirts & merchandise

One great way to make money with your Youtube channel is through t-shirt sales or other types of merchandise that are related to the topics that you are discussing in your videos. For example, if you’re talking about cooking, then why not create some t-shirts and mugs which say “World’s Best Cook” or something similar? This gives people another reason to watch your video instead of restarting the same clip over again on another website where they can’t buy anything. And because more people will want to watch your videos just for the chance of buying your products and services, you’re going to get a lot more views which can easily translate into some higher earnings.

4. Online Courses & Formal Training Programs

online-forms

Aside from just Youtube videos where people will see what you have to offer and hopefully buy something, another way to make money with your channel is by creating formal training courses on whatever topic it is that you know about or teach best. For example, if you begin making cooking lessons on youtube, then one thing that many YouTubers do is take those same recipes and video tutorials that they used for their online audience and turn them into a hard copy recipe book that they can sell in a bookstore or online through a website like Amazon. This gives people an opportunity to search and find what you have to offer more conveniently, and lets them know that there is even more content where that came from!

5. Concerts & Live Events

By now we’ve already mentioned how you can make money through sponsorship deals by featuring other companies within your videos, but another great way that YouTubers earn some extra cash is by holding live events or concerts for their viewers at the end of each year. We’re not just talking about online seminars here either. Many growing Youtube channels are becoming so popular that they’re able to fill a room full of people at a local venue which makes it much easier for them to charge higher prices for tickets too! The best part about this idea though is because of how many people are willing to buy tickets or see your videos, you can use this platform to conduct product placement deals with companies in the same industry. For example, if it’s a cooking channel that holds concerts and events like this, they may be able to get sponsorships for their venue (which will cover the cost of admission) along with any food that they decide to serve for refreshments at their event! So not only do you make money from selling your books or CDs, but you’re also earning even more by featuring these products in person at your own concert/event space!
